Changes regarding compensation-free days

On January 1 2019, new rules were introduced in the Sick Pay Act. These new rules, which are compulsory, mean that the compensation-free day at the start of sick leave is abolished and replaced by a salary deduction that corresponds to 20 per cent of an average week’s sick pay.
