Are you working at LiU and want to know more about the unemployment fund, the social security system in Sweden and the union? Then this seminar is something for you. Do you know what income you will have if you fall ill or if you go on parental leave? What happens if you become unemployed, with or without a valid residence permit? Do you get Swedish pension? What can the union do for you if you are a member? What help and benefits can you get?
Åsa Rybo Landelius, local officer of the Swedish Association of University Teachers and Researchers (SULF), will help you to straighten out these question marks. The seminar is primarily intended for foreign employees but everyone is welcome.
The seminar begins with a lecture on important topics and there will be time for questions.
Time: Thursday, March 23, 13:15-15:00
Place: Schrödinger (E324), Fysikhuset, Campus Valla
The seminar is free and we will provide fika. We would appreciate that you register by Monday, March 20 via email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Any employees who cannot attend in person are welcome to attend via Skype: https://meet.liu.se/darcy.parks/002W07VV. You are also encouraged to register.
