Umeå: SULF seminar - PhD Rights and Struggles
Are you a PhD student and want to know more about your rights? Have you experienced any issues at work and need support in dealing with them? Are you interested in joining SULF and Saco-S in their fight for change?
You are warmly welcome to a seminar by the SULF Doctoral Candidate Association!
The seminar is open to all PhD students. It is an opportunity to learn more about the work of SULF as a union for academics in Sweden and its Doctoral Candidate Association, to share experiences and learn from each other.
In our presentation, we will talk about the core functions of SULF, its relations to other organizations and ways of getting help in navigating the Swedish academia. We will have a talk on mental health problems among PhD Candidates as well as other challenges in their everyday lives – there is a lot to discuss!
When: February 24th, 10:00-12:00. The seminar is at 10.00-11.00, followed by a light lunch with time to mingle at 11.00-12.00.
