Are you a newly hired postdoc, doctoral student, researcher or university teacher? The Swedish Association for University Teachers and Researchers at Uppsala University (SULF/Uppsala) invites you to an introductory seminar on rights and regulations related to your employment.

Language: the presentation will be held in English
The seminar will cover the following topics
- Introduction to SULF/Uppsala and SULF/DCA
- Collective bargaining rights, local and central collective bargaining agreement
- Difference between scholarships and employment (for postdocs)
- Rules and regulations related to permanent positions
- Rules and regulations related to prolongation (for doctoral students)
- Unemployment insurance from a-kassa and from the union
- Residence permits (for employees from outside the EU)
Our main speaker is Robert Andersson (chief negotiator and representative at SULF’s central office).
