Thank you for your support and engagement in 2025
As 2025 draws to a close, we can look back on a productive year to say the least. We have had meetings with politicians, held seminars and webinars and published a number of articles and reports - all with the aim of improving conditions for doctoral candidates, university teachers and researchers.
SULF is proud to confirm that we now have more members than ever. We would like to say a big thank you to all our elected representatives and members - without you we would not be where we are today! We continue to put all our energy into higher education and to fight for quality and academic freedom.
Instead of sending Christmas gifts this year, SULF is donating money to the organisation Cara to support academics fleeing oppression.

Opening hours
The SULF central office is closed from 23 to 28 December and from 30 December to 5 January. The switchboard will also be closed during this period. You are also welcome to contact us by telephone on 08-505 836 00, Monday and Wednesday between 9 a.m. and 11.30 a.m. Telephone hours for the members’ support team will be open Monday and Wednesday between 9 a.m. and 11.30 a.m. after 9 January.
