SULF and Saco-S LTU: Academic Freedom, PhD Rights, Annual Meeting and Afterwork

Welcome to an afternoon hosted by Saco-S at LTU in collaboration with SULF. We are proud to host a visit from Sanna Wolk, National Chair of SULF, for a day focused on the professional lives of teachers, researchers, and doctoral candidates in Luleå. This is your opportunity to get updated on your rights, influence your local union work, and network with colleagues over an Afterwork.

• 13:00 – 13:30 | PhD Session: Employment & Career (English) Tailored for Doctoral Candidates. A short briefing on your rights and a chance to get in touch with your local representatives.
• 13:30 – 14:45 | Seminar: Academic Freedom with Sanna Wolk (English) Open to all. A keynote lecture on why academic freedom is under pressure and what we can do to protect it.
• 15:00 – 15:30 | Saco-S LTU Annual Meeting / Årsmöte (Swedish) For all members. The formal annual meeting where we elect our local board and set the direction for the coming year. Your participation strengthens our local mandate!
• 15:30 – 17.30 | Joint Afterwork (AW) We wrap up the day with a relaxed social. Meet Sanna Wolk and your local Saco-S/SULF representatives to discuss your work-life in an informal setting.

The lectures and meeting are open and do not require registration.
