Illness during holidays

If you become ill during your holiday you must notify your employer. If you break off your holiday because you become ill (or receive sickness benefit if you are ill for a longer period) the holiday days you were not able to take as a result will remain for you to use at a later time.

Different universities have different practices concerning how to report in sick. Please contact your university for more information on how to report that you are ill.
