Municipal and regional sector

The Swedish Association of University Teachers and Researchers (SULF) is a member of AkademikerAlliansen, an association of 16 Saco unions. AkademikerAlliansen is responsible for negotiating and signing central collective agreements for all member unions in the local government sector with the Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions (SKR) and the employers' organisation Sobona, which represents municipal enterprises.

AkademikerAlliansen (in Swedish) currently has an open-ended agreement with SKR and Sobona that is applicable until the agreement is terminated by either party. Under this agreement, SULF is covered by the HÖK-T salary agreement, which sets out terms for wages and employment conditions and which also includes the AB general terms and conditions agreement.
