In 2019, Saco-S discovered an error in some payroll systems. It has now been found that the error only affects employees who have waived salary in favour of extra pension contributions, (löneväxling – sometimes known as a salary reduction plan), and who also had salary deductions for absence from work, for example sick leave or parental leave that lasted less than a full calendar month. Arbetsgivarverket, The Swedish Agency for Government Employers, has now issued instructions on how to correct the error. If you have been affected, please contact your employer for more information.
