News for members who turn 65 soon
From 1 January 2023, you can continue to be a member of the unemployment insurance fund and receive unemployment benefits until the age of 66. You can find more information about this change on the website of the Akademikernas a-kassa unemployment insurance fund (temporary website in Swedish). Your membership will continue automatically unless you choose to terminate it.
SULF income insurance

Accordingly, the terms and conditions of the SULF income insurance have also been changed. From 1 January 2023, members can receive supplementary compensation from the SULF income insurance after turning 65 if they receive income-related compensation from the unemployment insurance fund. The Job Transition Agreement
The terms and conditions of the Job Transition Agreement have also been updated. From 1 January 2023, members can receive supplementary compensation from the Job Security Foundation (Trygghetsstiftelsen) until the age of 66 if the conditions in the Agreement are met.
